Royal Central reported on the visit, publishing a video in which Denys Shmyhal with his wife Inna, Olena Zelenska and Ambassador of Ukraine Vadym Prystaiko with his wife Inna pay their respects to the queen. Olena Zelenska and Inna Shmyhal were visibly upset while looking at the coffin.

Also, Princess of Wales Kate Middleton held an audience with Elena Zelenskaya at Buckingham Palace on the eve of the Queen's funeral.

This is not the first meeting of the princess with the first lady of Ukraine. In 2020, Prince William and the Princess of Wales met with the Zelenskys.
