Non-lethal weapons from South Korea – Kyiv will receive bulletproof vests, helmets and medicines from Seoul

President Zelensky asked Seoul for support with military equipment during a virtual address to the country's parliament on Monday.

South Korea plans to provide Ukraine < strong> additional non-lethal aid worth 2 billion won ($ 1.6 million) this month. Seoul is preparing to start sending items such as bulletproof vests, helmets, medicines and food to Ukraine next week. This was reported by the country's largest news agency Yonhap News, citing its own sources.

The new package came after South Korea shipped $ 1 billion worth of non-lethal military and medical supplies last month amid calls from Ukraine to support the Russian invasion.
