A Russian spy was arrested in Poland

Collected information about military units.

Up to 10 years in prison shines Russian detained on suspicion of espionage, reports DW with reference to the Polish prosecutor's office.

The Russian was detained in Gdansk by military gendarmerie. The court remanded him in custody for three months.

According to the Polish Military Counterintelligence Service, the Russian was “gathering information about military units, their equipment and personnel situation.”

The suspect faces up to 10 years in prison.

Earlier, on March 23, Poland announced deportation 45 Russian diplomats accusing them of espionage.
