“Naftogaz of Ukraine” recommends to consumers who have paid for May, to return the money to the suppliers working under the brand “Tvii Gazzbut” and “Odesagaz-Postachannia” LLC and transfer it to Naftogaz. “We recommend contacting the previous supplier and writing a statement to return the overpayment for May. These companies behaved irresponsibly in relation to their customers, issued them invoices that they had no right to issue. People became victims of this device. “Unfortunately, there is no other mechanism for refunding money, apart from a previous application to the suppliers,” explained Halyna Rusanevich, a representative of the Department of Marketing and Work with Clients of Naftogaz of Ukraine.
According to her, consumers of Tvoi Gazzbut and Odesagaz-Supply brand suppliers were transferred to the “last hope” supplier (PON), whose role is performed by Naftogaz, and then by the decision of the Gas Transport System Operator of Ukraine (OGTSU) as of May 1. were transferred to Naftogaz of Ukraine as a “regular” supplier.

According to her, for this, it is not necessary to wait for a paper payment, which in the conditions of martial law may arrive late, but it is enough to use the generated payment in the personal account on the Naftogaz website, which every consumer must issue.
“Ukrposhta” is overburdened, there are not enough postmen, part of the territory is occupied, so payments may not reach certain regions. That is why we advise all customers to receive online payments, for this you just need to go to the website of GC “Naftogaz of Ukraine”, register in your personal account, or go to the chatbot in messengers and get an online account there,” advised the manager of relations with public of the CPC, noting that a large number of consumers have abandoned paper payments altogether.
She specified that the payment is made from the 11th to the 15th of the month following the month of supply, after which it can be paid.
“In order to check whether the consumer is in the Naftogaz Ukrainy PCC, it is necessary to enter the EIS code on its website: receiving a personal account by the consumer means confirmation of its service by the Naftogaz company,” explained Rusanevich.
The company also noted that they will not apply any penalties due to late payment for gas, including those consumers who paid other suppliers for the resource supplied by Naftogaz in May.
