According to journalists, more than half of Americans consider Russia's use of a nuclear bomb in Ukraine as a “realistic” or “very realistic” scenario. To the question: “Do you think it is possible that Russian President Vladimir Putin could use a nuclear bomb in Ukraine?” 14% of respondents said it was “very realistic” and 44% said it was “realistic”.

A further 19% said the use of nuclear weapons is “neither realistic nor unrealistic” scenario, while only 12% of Americans described it as “unrealistic” or “very unrealistic”.
