At an extraordinary online session, the Mariupol City Council condemned Russia's war crimes against Mariupol residents , rejecting any possibility of cooperation with the occupiers and collaborators, and called on the world community to recognize the actions of the Russian Federation in Mariupol as genocide of the Ukrainian people.
The deputies appealed to the world community to unite efforts to unblock international humanitarian aid to the city and create an organized full evacuation of residents.

– We call on the world community to unite efforts to unblock international humanitarian aid to Mariupol and organized the full evacuation of Mariupol residents
– We note that Mariupol was, is and remains a Ukrainian city.
The City Council also suspended the powers of the deputies of the OP-ZZh and the Sharia Party and set up special commissions to start counting the damage caused to Mariupol and collecting information about the deported people.
