President of the Republic of Belarus Oleksandr Lukashenko said that >does not want to fight in Ukraine, but is ready to strike decision-making centers in case of provocations. He stated this on July 2 at a solemn meeting on the occasion of Independence Day, reports “Belta”.
Lukashenko told the participants that three days ago they allegedly tried to attack military facilities on the territory of Ukraine. Belarus, however, managed to intercept all missiles launched by the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the Pantsir anti-aircraft systems.
“What is this? I assure you under oath: not a single soldier of Belarus is fighting on the territory of Ukraine,” Lukashenko said, adding that in the event of strikes on Gomel in the south, on the Mozyr Oil Refinery, on the airport, the airfield in Lunynta or Brest, he will respond instantly.
“I want to warn the “hawks” and tell you frankly: a little less than a month ago, I gave the order to the units of the Armed Forces to target, as it is now fashionable to say, the decision-making centers in your capitals with all the consequences that follow,” Lukashenko addressed the Western countries , who, in his opinion, are trying to draw Belarus into the war in Ukraine.

As reported, on June 22, the Ministry of Defense of Belarus informed about beginning of training with the participation of military commissariats in the Gomel region near the border with Ukraine. They were originally announced to last until July 1st, but were later extended until at least July 9th.
The purpose of the exercises, as they say, is to “control the readiness of teams to perform tasks.” One of the elements of such control is the mobilization of conscripts and the organization of military meetings with their participation.
