Head of Chechnya Ramazan Kadyrov On September 3, he recorded a video message in which he hinted at his resignation.
“Today I found out that I, it turns out, am a “long-lived” among the current heads of subjects of the Russian Federation. I myself noticed that I sat down. I believe that I fully deserved an indefinite and long vacation. I hope you will support me and understand,” Kadyrov signed the video.
In his address, Kadyrov recalled that he has been in charge of the Chechen Republic for 15 years, longer than any other current head of Russian regions.

“We Caucasians and Chechens have a proverb: no matter how esteemed and long-awaited the guest is, if he leaves on time, it is even more pleasant. (…) Therefore, I think that my time has also come, before I am expelled,” he added.
A source close to the administration of the President of the Russian Federation told Meduza that Kadyrov may head the Russian Guard.
