Despite the difficult situation in the country, the government is doing everything possible to maintain economic stability.

The Ministry of Finance with reference to the State Treasury Service reported that in April the general fund of the state budget was replenished by 76.2 billion hryvnias.

According to the agency, the following taxes and fees brought the most funds: value added tax on goods produced in Ukraine – 15.6 billion; personal income tax and military tax – 9.7 billion; value added tax on goods imported into the customs territory of Ukraine – 7.9 billion. In total, in January-April 2022, the state budget received 412.5 billion hryvnias, including the general fund – 365.9 billion hryvnias. It is noted that 123.2 billion hryvnias were attracted from external sources (mainly from US aid).

The Finance Ministry also said that the military invasion The Russian Federation has dealt a serious blow to the territory of Ukraine to the Ukrainian economy, which, of course, affected the performance of budget indicators this year. However, the Cabinet of Ministers took urgent measures to reorient the country's budget for military purposes and make the most necessary social expenditures.

Earlier the government named the main principles of Ukraine's economic recovery after the war, noting that partner countries should take an active part in this process.
