Deficit of gasoline and diesel prices: gas station networks allowed to raise fuel prices by 2 hryvnias

Taking into account the maximum margins, the cost of gasoline at the gas station can not exceed UAH 37.69 per liter.

The Ministry of Economy has published new calculations of the average cost of gasoline and diesel fuel, which are the starting point for the formation of margins at gas stations. As of May 2, Naftogaz Ukrainy provided the latest data, according to the Ministry of Economy. 1.97 hryvnias from 33.66 hryvnias to 35.63 hryvnias per liter.

Taking into account the maximum margins, the cost of gasoline at gas stations may not exceed 37.69 hryvnias per liter, diesel fuel – 42.63 hryvnias per liter.

Recall, the government regulates retail prices for gasoline and diesel fuel. The Cabinet of Ministers decree introduced a maximum retail markup of 6.5 hryvnias for gasoline and 7 hryvnias for diesel fuel.

Earlier it was reported that raising the marginal level of trade margin, allowed gas stations to set unlimited prices for “branded premium” fuel, provided that they also sell fuel at prices regulated by the state.
