The Center for Journalistic Investigations found out that “Olesya” LLC works for the Russian invaders.
“Olesya” LLC serves the Russian invaders. This was reported by the Center for Journalistic Investigations with reference to the mayor of Novaya Kakhovka, Volodymyr Kovalenko, who was able to leave for the territory controlled by Ukraine on July 18.
According to the investigators, “Olesya” helps the occupiers to manufacture and install reinforced concrete military fortifications and repairs damaged bridge crossings in the temporarily occupied territory of southern Ukraine.
In particular, the employees of “Olesya” LLC helped the occupiers to repair the road surface on the bridge over the Kakhovsky sluice on the territory of the Novokakhovsk Territorial Community, which was damaged after shelling by the Armed Forces. It was near the lock and the Kakhovskaya HPP that the Russian invaders set up one of their military bases from the first days of the full-scale war.
Deputy of the Kherson Regional Council Serhii Khlan also spoke about the details of Valery Serov's cooperation with the invaders.
“The occupiers found the local company Olesya, Serov is the director. Unfortunately, he agreed to work with them and from the first days handed over his construction company to the location of the orcs. When the warehouse took off, it was not far from this enterprise,” he said in an interview with the NIS-TV channel.
The founders and owners of “Olesya” LLC are the couple Serovys – Valeriy and Valentina. About 470 people work in the company. Syerov himself also owns Sistema-Master LLC and Nova Kakhovka Tennis and Sports Club LLC.

Olesya is one of the largest developers in Nova Kakhovka. As a rule, she performed construction works, the customer of which was another company of Serov's, Sistema-Master. Judging by the decisions of the Novokakhovsk City Council, both companies received attractive plots of land in the city for the construction of multi-story residential buildings.
For example, in 2015 Olesya LLC together with the auditing company “Finansovi rezervy”, close to the then secretary of the city council Oleksandr Lukyanenko, built high-rise buildings in the central part of the city on the site of the former evening school and the former building of the city council's education department.
And in recent years in Novaya Kakhovka, the scandals surrounding the intentions of Olesia LLC to build a residential high-rise in the coastal area on the site of the former Druzhba hotel have not subsided.
We remind you that the state news agency of Russia “RIA Novosti ” the other day spotted a company that helps the occupiers rebuild the bombed-out road in front of the Kakhovskaya HPP.
However, according to the Deputy Chairman of the Kherson Regional Council, Yuriy Sobolevskyi, “specialists were involved in the repair work except under the muzzles of machine guns.”
