The Prozorro public procurement system has developed a new Prozorro + platform, said the head of the system Vasily Zadvorny on Facebook .

“It simply came to our notice then. Our life, our country, us. Public procurement cannot and does not remain pre-war. The focus of many government functions is changing. If before the war, public buyers were primarily interested in the optimal price / quality ratio, now – speed, simplicity, providing the rear. If before the war private companies compared the profitability of public procurement with the private sector, now the focus is on resuming business, on restructuring processes, ”explains Zadvorny.

Prozorro + should help the state quickly find suppliers of the most necessary goods during martial law, as well as help businesses resume operations and support the economy.

How it will work:

  • The site has a catalog of categories of goods for the humanitarian needs of the country (fuel, food, clothing, laptops, generators, etc., this list is constantly expanding).
  • Companies that are ready to supply the state with the necessary goods can post their current offers on the platform.
  • State and local authorities, civilian administrations and humanitarian headquarters will be able to publish their needs for goods.
  • If someone can't find the right offer in the catalog, the Prozorro + team promises to help find a supplier.

The new platform is actively working with donor and public organizations that will be able to finance the specific needs of our state. They also plan to attract foreign companies that will help provide goods that are currently in short supply in Ukraine.
