According to Deputy Kucherenko, Vitrenko brought the NAK to a critical state.
People's Deputy of Ukraine and former Minister of Housing Oleksiy Kucherenko of Ukraine's communal economy published an appeal to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi with a request to dismiss the head of the board of NAFTOgaz Yury Vitrenka.
According to Kucherenko, the activity of Yuri Vitrenka in his position led to a crisis situation for the company and the Operator of the oil and gas system of Ukraine. Therefore, in addition to the dismissal of the current chairman of the board, an audit should be conducted of all enterprises that are part of the Company — with subsequent mandatory publication of its conclusions.
“I believe that the continued tenure of Mr. Vitrenka as the Chairman of the Board of the Company, who violates the law, blocks the implementation of the decisions of the NSDC and the Government, systematically manipulates data, and whose activities led to the crisis state of Naftogaz of Ukraine and the Operator of the Gas Transport System of Ukraine, threatens energy security of our state,” the deputy declared.
According to him, on the eve of such a difficult heating season, the state leadership cannot trust the current chairman of the board of a strategically important enterprise for the state.

.UA in the government. The process of changing the head of the company is likely to begin in a week. It is expected that the new head of Naftogaz will be the current Minister of Communities and Territories, Oleksiy Chernyshov, whose candidacy has apparently already been approved by the President's Office. Naftogaz is expected and adequate. And although Oleksiy Chernyshov is not an energy expert, he has higher hopes in OP than Vitrenka.
