Ukraine is ready for negotiations with the Russian Federation, but with a new president.

“I want to add something about the decision of the National Security Council regarding sanctions against individuals and legal entities. It is a really long list, quite loud names. But we are not focused on loudness, but to demotivate Russian influence and at the same time influence the state of affairs in the Russian Federation itself. Therefore, restrictions are being introduced against several thousand subjects, synchronized with the sanctions of Ukraine and our partners, new sanctions are introduced against key personalities, against significant Russian enterprises. Sanctions will also be applied to citizens of other countries who took part in the Russian farce on the occupied territory of our state. Pseudo-referendums are elements of aggression against a sovereign state and everyone involved in the organization or conduct of this farce will be brought to justice,” the appeal reads.
The President noted that the Prime Ministers of Denmark and Japan condemned the next Russian escalation steps. He also thanked all the leaders of the states, partners, all political and public figures of the world, who have already spoken out quite promptly in defense of Ukraine and international law
“I want to personally thank US President Biden, Congress, our friends in Europe and to everyone who is already strengthening sanctions against Russia. And is already taking powerful steps to increase defense and financial support for Ukraine,” the president added.
