38 Ukrainian publications were included in the “long” list of the award.
Publication “BVS News Ukraine”, which every year holds the “BBC Book of the Year competition, < span style="font-weight: 400;">published the list of nominees for the award in 2022. The list includes 38 publications in three categories: “BBC Book of the Year”, “BBC Essay Book of the Year” and “BBC Children's Book of the Year”.

The final of the BBC Book of the Year competition will take place in December 2022. The winner in each nomination will receive a cash prize in the amount of the hryvnia equivalent of £1,000. The publishers of the winning books in both nominations will have the right to use the logo of the BBC Book of the Year award in subsequent editions.
