West Virginia (USA) will send M-113 armored personnel carriers to Ukraine.

According to official information, the state of West Virginia will send to Ukraine at the request of its Ministry of Defense armored personnel carriers M-113 in quantities “not disclosed”, – reports “Voice of America” ​​with reference to the Governor of the State Jim Justice.

These armored vehicles are used to move soldiers, providing them protection from small arms fire.

“By joining other states, we hope and pray that this will give the Ukrainian armed forces a significant impetus to protect their homeland from aggression,” the statement said.

Earlier this year, Jim Justice ordered the cessation of imports of spirits produced in Russia. The governor also asked the West Virginia Retailers Association to remove existing Russian alcohol from its shelves.
