The relevant project of the law has been registered in the Verkhovna Rada.
The Verkhovna Rada has registered a draft law that provides for administrative liability for violation of curfew under martial law.
The authors of the draft law propose to supplement the Code of Administrative Offenses with a new Article 210-2. It defines the punishment for violating the curfew, that is, being on the streets and in other public places during a certain period of the day during martial law, or driving vehicles without specially issued passes or certificates.
As stated in the accompanying note , the task of the draft law is to “eliminate a real threat to the life and safety of the population, increase defense capabilities, and also to ensure public order during martial law.”
In case of violation of the curfew, the violator may receive a warning or a fine of thirty to fifty tax-free minimum incomes of citizens (510-850 UAH).
If a person commits the specified offense again within a year offense, you will have to pay a larger fine – from UAH 1.7 thousand to UAH 3.4 thousand.
