In the period from September 26 to October 2, the weighted average the price of access to interstate power transmission lines in the direction of the EU fell by 21% to UAH 5.1 thousand/MWh. The reason for this is the drop in prices on neighboring markets, the press service of “Ukrenergo” reports.
According to the state company, electricity prices continue to decrease on the day-ahead (day-ahead) spot market of Romania: the average price of the base load from September 25 to October 1 was about 344.6 euros/MWh, while a week earlier – 366.4 euros/MWh. However, the price of electricity at the Slovakian RDN increased to 377.1 euros/MWh compared to 359.5 euros/MWh a week earlier.
At the same time, at the Ukrainian RDN, the base load price increased on most days by 3 -4 euros to 93-94 euros/MW∙h against 90-91/MW∙h during the previous week.
The total cost of access to interstate power grids in the direction of Slovakia and Romania, sold at auctions by “Ukrenergo” from from June 30 to October 2, 2022, is more than 4.7 billion hryvnias.
During the last week of September 26 – October 2, 2022, access to interstate crossings in the amount of 50,099 MW was realized at these auctions.
