Ukrainians will be able to formalize foreign and domestic passports abroad. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a decision on the implementation of the pilot project of issuing passports to citizens of Ukraine outside Ukraine on June 10.
abroad for citizens of Ukraine who are outside our country, will be carried out located outside of Ukraine a separate unit of the state enterprise “Document”, which belongs to the management of the LCA of Ukraine and is the administrator of the Unified State Demographic Register. The list of countries where the documents will be accepted has yet to be determined by the State Migration Service and agreed with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The decision will take effect in 15 days from the date of its publication, ie June 25.
< At the suggestion of the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the State Migration Service, the pilot project will last two years.

In May, the government launched a pilot project on the simultaneous issuance of a passport of a citizen of Ukraine and a foreign passport. The innovation will minimize the time spent in obtaining or restoring documents, which is especially important in martial law.
