Ukrainian defenders liberated seven more settlements in the Kherson region

The head of the OVA told how many settlements in the region have already been de-occupied.

. The total number of freed from the Russian occupiers, e.g. of the region has increased to 53, Dmytro Butriy, the acting head of the Kherson OVA, said on the air of the telethon.

“I will tell you that 53 settlements have already been officially confirmed as of today, which have been released. We provide this information only when it is agreed with the General Staff, because before the complete release, the military is still carrying out certain demining operations there,” said Butriy.

However, he emphasized that the invaders continue to shell almost the entire de-occupied territory of Kherson Oblast. That is why the local population is not yet recommended to return to their homes.

Let us remind you that a day earlier, Dmytro Butrii announced about 46 settlements of the Kherson region, over which control was established by Ukrainian defenders. Then the head of the OVA called on the residents of the mentioned territories to evacuate to safer areas due to ongoing enemy shelling.
