Minister of Finance Serhii Marchenko congratulated Ukrainians on Independence Day and announced that today our state should receive a grant of 3 billion dollars from the USA. On his Facebook page, he thanked our partners and the World Bank for their support and assistance.
“Today we not only celebrate the 31st anniversary of Independence, but also have to defend it in the conditions of a full-scale war. And I have no doubt that our struggle will end in victory over the aggressor!” – writes Marchenko. – In this today there is positive news from the financial front. Today we will receive 3 billion US dollars from the United States to the state budget in the form of a non-refundable grant. The funds will come through the mechanism of the World Bank.”
