Ukraine has joined the European Film Agency Directors association (EFAD). This was announced during the field plenary session of the association, which took place at the Cannes Film Festival, according to the State Cinema.
The head of the Ukrainian agency Maryna Kuderchuk and the executive director of the Ukrainian Film Association Victoria Yarmoschuk were also invited to join the event. EFAD representatives assured Ukraine of their support and said that they had already done so.

For example, EFAD, as well as the National Center for Cinematography and Animation of France, German film funds (including the National Fund FFA), the Dutch Film Fund and the Luxembourg Film Fund have made donations to the International Coalition of Cinematographers at Risk. The coalition has set up a special “Emergency Fund for Directors” to help filmmakers at risk from the war in Ukraine.
