New logistics routes will be used for deliveries.
Ukraine expects to receive 350-360 thousand tons of fuel by the end of May, which will be possible thanks to new logistics routes. This was announced by First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy Yulia Svyridenko at a meeting of the Government.
She noted that Ukraine, in particular, managed to agree on the return of fuel through the pipeline from Hungary
“Yesterday An agreement was reached that we will receive 35,000 tons a month as a state. It is possible to increase this volume to 50,000 tons a month, “Sviridenko said.
According to her, since the beginning of the month Naftogaz has been concluding contracts for the purchase of fuel abroad, which will be imported to Ukraine.
“Thanks to these measures, we will receive 350-360 thousand tons of fuel from completely new logistics routes, “the minister stressed.
In order to speed up deliveries, Ukraine has revoked permits for the entry of fuel tanks and provided the opportunity to receive fuel at Danube ports. Customs officers and border guards will process such cargoes at the borders on an emergency basis.
We will remind, on the Ukrainian border are going to launch a “profile” checkpoint , which will allow only trucks with fuel.
Earlier it was reported that the Ukrainian authorities are taking all necessary measures to ensure sufficient fuel in the country and eliminate the deficit gasoline and diesel at the gas station. So the situation only needs to improve. An additional strategic fuel reserve will be formed in Ukraine which will be impossible to bomb and destroy. In this way, the need of the population and business for fuel will be guaranteed for the next month.
