Ukraine and Moldova will renew the free trade agreement

Despite the war, Kyiv and Chisinau return to implementing the 2021 agreements.

According to previous agreements, Ukraine and Moldova will update the Free Trade Agreement. This was announced by the Prime Minister Denis Shmygal on his Twitter account.

The official clarified that the bill on the application of pan-Euro-Mediterranean rules of origin of goods has already been submitted to the Rada

The Cabinet of Ministers approved a draft Protocol amending the Free Trade Agreement between the two countries of November 13, 2003.

Earlier, Moldova and Georgia imposed economic sanctions on Russia. But why these countries are likely to have to wait for progress in European integration for several more political cycles, read in an interview with ZN.UA with the Deputy Prime Minister from European integration by Olga Stefanishina.

At the same time as the state of emergency was imposed in the neighboring country at the end of last year due to gas shortages, Kyiv decided to help against the background of economic pressure from Russia.

We also previously reported that Russia intends to carry out a military invasion of Moldova in a scenario similar to the capture of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
