Two Ukrainian women died in a train crash in Germany

Two people died in a train crash in Bavaria, Germany Ukrainian citizens who left after the start of the war and lived nearby in families receiving refugees.

According to Bild, the disaster occurred on Friday, June 3. The regional train heading to Munich derailed near the town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. As a result, several cars overturned.

The liquidation of the accident is still ongoing, but it is already known for sure about five dead and about 40 wounded. Another 7 to 14 people are still missing. According to the German newspaper, among the victims is also the child of one of the dead Ukrainians.

The Ukrainian Embassy in Germany in a comment to “European Truth” confirmed the death of two Ukrainian women in a railway accident Munich is in contact with the families of the dead women. Each of the victims left a minor child, who is currently accompanied by close adults.

According to the Ambassador of Ukraine to Germany Andriy Melnyk, the men of the victims plan to come to Germany, the issue of their crossing the border is currently being resolved.
