More than half of Ukrainians, namely 56%, have a plot of land and plan to plant a garden this year, another 9% – do not have their own land, but also plan to plant relatives, acquaintances. Such data from a sociological survey were published by the “Rating” group.
Only 8% of citizens say they have a garden, but will not plant anything. At the same time, a quarter of respondents do not have plots.
Most of those who will plant gardens are residents of the west and center of the country. 83% of them are peasants, 65% are residents of small towns, 50% are regional centers.
All-Ukrainian campaign aimed at efficient use of available land and directing all resources for food production to prevent the food crisis in Ukraine – a little more than half of citizens – 55%, but 82% are positive about this idea.
The ninth nationwide poll of the Rating Sociological Group was conducted on April 26 among 1,000 respondents aged 18 and older in all oblasts, except for the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea and Donbas by CATI (computer-assisted telephone interviews) . Error of representativeness of the study with a confidence level of 0.95: not more than 3.1%.
