At the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant the Russian occupiers have begun preparations for the evacuation of Rosatom employees to Melitopol, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported.
In order to avoid panic among the station's employees, preparations for the removal of the Russian nuclear workers are carried out secretly. At the same time, the evacuation will be accompanied by units of the “Rosguard”, which in the morning left Melitopol in a convoy in the direction of Energodar. , part of the staff is planned to be barred from entering the territory of the station.
“Currently, a critical situation has developed at the ZNPP due to the fact that the occupiers are barring part of the staff from entering the territory. In particular, the personnel responsible for fire safety,” Energoatom stressed in turn.
Previously, Russia did not deny plans to cut off the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant from the energy system of Ukraine and connect it to its own. For this, Rosatom employees were brought to the station, who were supposed to find ways to solve such plans.
