“The worst thing was with the anti-terrorist operation and those who had to do with the police, the authorities”: a resident of Dymer told about life in the occupation

Olya Simonova told how in the neighboring village the occupiers burned their own dead, in another – buried in a mass grave, in the same place where during World War II was a mass grave of German soldiers.

The village of Dymer in Kyiv region was occupied enemy for 35 days . The occupiers looted and intimidated the local population, taking people captive. And their 200s were burned or buried on the spot in a mass grave. A resident of Dymer, psychologist and doctor Olya Simonova told the editor of the ZN.UA department of the society Alli Kotlyar about life in the occupied town.

“If before they were building houses around the point where they were standing, in the last three days – all the streets on Dimer. They took everything out. Armored personnel carriers came. We left like gypsies in a carriage. Pillows and chandeliers wrapped in carpets protruded from the beater, and they sat on top. They went into the yard, pointed a machine gun at people. They said, “Run.” People ran away. And they did what they wanted, “says Olya Simonova.

She mentions that the physical education teacher had a small shop. They came to him and said, “Either you open it and we'll take everything we need, or we'll ruin everything here.” He opened. They picked up the stew, the long-lasting one, turned around and left.

In Katyuzhansky school, there was an ostrich farm. There, according to a psychologist, the occupiers of ostriches ate.

“Laptops and projectors were taken out of the gymnasium in a row. Everything that could be endured. Literally everything was taken out of the Katyuzha school. From the new dining room – all the tables, hobs… Squeezed cars from people. The worst was with the soldiers and those who were involved in the police and the authorities. They came first. At first, they allegedly looked for weapons. Then they beat very hard. We have the Viknaland factory here, where there is a basement where they kept prisoners. In the four days since they left, our people from Bayraktar have defeated Viknaland. There was their ammunition depot. It burned very much. They fled from there like rats from a sinking ship, “said a resident of Dymer.

Olya Simonova said that her neighbor worked as a security guard and knew about the prisoners in the basement. He climbed under the bullets, knocked down the lock and released 22 people.

“One of those guys ran up to us. Dam engineer in Kozarovichi. They kept him because they wanted to learn how to pump water out of Irpen and make a crossing. You will not throw any pontoon over the overflowing river, ”Olya Simonova said.

She said that many of our people had disappeared during the occupation of Dymer. They left the house and did not return.

And on March 31, when the occupiers left Kozarovichi, they set fire to the warehouse themselves. Olya Simonova recalls that it smelled very bad, and the locals understood that the occupiers were burning their own, not taking them out. They had a lot of wounded and corpses. An acquaintance told the psychologist that when the tarpaulin in the traveling ZILs was thrown, he saw piles of corpses. According to the psychologist, the occupiers hid their blood …

In Katyuzhanka. It is known for sure that near the school and behind the club. The most interesting thing is that during the Second World War there was a mass grave of German soldiers. And they buried theirs in the same place …

“Once one of them came to wash in the hospital. Young, aged 18-19. I cried in my soul for 40 minutes. And then he came out and put the machine gun. Saying, “It's only a matter of time before I get killed. Or here. Or, when I return home, I will be killed there. ” They were given 14 years for desertion. But this is who is lucky. We had a woman who left Oran (with her two children) near the village of Dytyatok. I don't know how they came out. She said that there were Kadyrovites in them, and their task was to shoot Russian deserters. They knew it. That they will just be killed. He cried so much. He said: “I went to school”… “, – says Olya Simonova.
