The Kyiv City State Administration said that when they did not cope with the problems, they asked for help in business.
Today in Kyiv there are more than 2 thousand product networks and shops, and there are no more queues, said in an interview with ZN.UA Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration Mykola Povoroznyk , with whom Alla Eremenko spoke. He assured that the capital's stores have the most important products, and the range is growing.
“After the disruption of logistics systems, most retail chains still quickly resumed/resumed their activities. It is possible that the range has slightly decreased or changed… The most used and sought-after products are in all retail chains. Moreover, the range includes bread from different manufacturers, as well as flour, oil and more. And the range of products is growing daily. Even taking into account the returning Kyivites, there are no and will not be any problems with food supply, “Povroznyk said.
According to Povoroznyk, when the authorities saw a problem that they could not solve quickly, they turned to business. And businessmen, as the deputy chairman of KSCA noted, responded to needs of the city and Kyivans quickly.
Speaking about the number of operating grocery chains and stores, Povoroznyk noted that any figure is now dynamic.
“Today, there are more than two thousand grocery chains and stores in Kyiv. There have been no queues in the capital for food or medicine for a long time, “Povoroznyk said.
He added that the capital is currently providing Kyiv with fresh (seasonal) vegetables. In particular, mini-fairs are being renewed in the districts of Kyiv. About 40 markets are already operating. At the same time, Povroznyk noted that pet food is available in specialty stores from February 25, 2022.
“There are no problems with that today. And this is also the merit of business, “Povoroznyk said.
