The UN Secretary General will come to Lviv for a meeting with Zelenskyi

Guterres plans to discuss the situation at the Zaporizhzhia NPP, as well as the search for a political solution to the conflict with Russia.

UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres will arrive in Ukraine for a meeting with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi and the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan. This was announced by UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric.

Guterres will meet with Zelenskyi in Lviv and discuss the situation at the Zaporizhzhia NPP, as well as the search for a political solution to the conflict with Russia.

The visit is scheduled for Friday. Guterres to the Black Sea port of Odesa, where, with the mediation of the UN, the export of grain has been restored.

On Saturday, Guterres will go to Istanbul.

Let us remind you that UN Secretary General António Guterres called on the Russian occupiers to grant international inspectors access to the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant after receiving information about its shelling by Russia.

He also called to “cease all military activities” around the territory of the Zaporizhzhya NPP. However, the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Vasiliy Nebenzya did not support the proposal.
