Ukrainian defenders raised our blue-yellow flag on the ceiling located along the route connecting Kharkiv and Donetsk regions south of the city of Izyum. This was reported by the head of the Donetsk OVA, Pavlo Kirylenko, in Telegram.
At the same time, he emphasized that this territory is still very dangerous due to the objects left by the Russian invaders.
“Thanks to our Armed Forces, this section of the Kyiv-Kharkiv-Dovzhansky highway is free from occupiers, but extremely dangerous, as it is literally full of deadly ironclads. Fierce battles were fought here not long ago, and now only the abandoned equipment and minefields remind us of them,” Kyrylenko noted.

The head of the OVA said that he conducted an assessment of the scope of future works on demining the territory together with First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Yevgeny Yenin and head of the State Emergency Service Serhii Kruk.
In addition, state and departmental awards were given to “the best rescuers who faithfully and skilfully perform their professional duty during this war (sometimes at the limit of human strength and capabilities)”.
