A total of eight communities were damaged by enemy shells on July 8.

On July 8, the Russian army shelled the territory 18 times Sumy region. One of the civilians was injured. This was announced by the head of the Sumy Oblast Dmytro Zhivytskyi in Telegram.

According to his data, the Russian military fired more than 100 shots from various types of weapons in the Sumy Oblast. In particular, they used rockets, mortars, and self-propelled artillery.

In total, the occupiers hit eight communities: Khotynska, Esmanska, Yunakivska, Myropilska, Krasnopilska, Bilopolska, Shalyginska, and Novoslobidska.

“During one of the shellings, around 7 p.m., a local farmer was injured in the Krasnopil community. Fragments of mines gutted the car, two of them hit the man who was driving the car in the neck,” Zhivytskyi wrote.

He clarified that the farmer was taken to the hospital, but his life is not in danger at the moment.
