Fighting continues in the Bakhmut direction, but defenders of Ukraine repelled the invaders in several other areas.
The Russian army is conducting combat operations on Bakhmut direction, trying to create favorable conditions for taking control of the city of Bakhmut and the territory of the Vuglegirskaya TPP. This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the evening briefing.
The occupiers are currently conducting an assault in the area of the village of Berestov and on the approaches to the Vuglehirskaya TPP. Fighting continues there.
In the indicated direction, Russian troops shelled the districts of Berestovo, Vesely, Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmutskyi, Veselya Dolyna, Kodema, Mayorsk, New York and other settlements. They carried out airstrikes on Pokrovsky.
At the same time, the Ukrainian defenders once again successfully stopped the enemy assault in the area of Bogorodychny, in the Slavic direction.
There, the invaders also conducted a fire attack from jet, barrel artillery and tanks in the areas Dolyna, Bogorodichny, Kostyantynivka, Husarivka, Velika Komyshuvakha, Pokrovsky and other settlements.

On Kramatorsk directionthe Russians also tried to conduct an assault, in the districts of Hryhorivka and Spirny, but suffered losses and were forced to retreat.

In addition, the occupiers were defeated during another attempt to conduct reconnaissance by combat in the area of Novoselivka Drugoi in the Avdiiv direction – they had to retreat with losses. The offensive in the direction of Novomykhailivka and Mykilskoye ended with the same result for the Russian military.
In the Avdiyivka, Novopavlivka, and Zaporizhzhia directions, the invaders continue to systematically shell civilian and military infrastructure in the areas of Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka, Volodymyrivka, Pavlivka, Novoukrainka, Olhivskyi, Malynyvka, Gulyaipol, Zaliznychny and other settlements.
