Time to pass the National Multi-Subject Test , which will consist of entrants this year, decided to increase to 120 minutes. The Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Serhiy Shkarlet announced this in his channel in the Telegram.
He noted that a demonstration version of the test was published on April 28, the ministry received feedback from parents and teachers. They noted that the test will be an effective tool for selecting entrants to higher education institutions. However, the time allotted for the three blocks of tasks is not enough.

“On my behalf, the Ukrainian Center for Quality Assessment Education analyzed the progress of the demonstration test in the online environment and the time allotted for the task. The commission confirmed that some participants do not have time to complete the last tasks of the test. The warnings of educators, entrants and their parents, as well as real statistics of testing convinced us that the duration of the test should be extended to 120 minutes, “- wrote Scarlett.
Recall that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine passed a law on admission to universities in 2022 under a simplified procedure , which provides for the abolition of this year's state final certification, external evaluation, a single entrance exam and a single professional entrance exam. At the same time, enrollment in higher education institutions will be based on the results of a single multidisciplinary online test.
