On September 10, they were completely or partially left without water and electricity due to rocket attacks by the Russian occupiers on critical infrastructure.

Problems with light occurred during the All-Ukrainian air alert. Subsequently, the Dergachy City Council (Kharkiv Region) reported that the occupiers were attacking infrastructure facilities.
“Dear citizens! At the moment, the territory of the community is completely de-energized due to the fact that the occupiers hit the objects of critical infrastructure! Please keep calm. Kharkiv Oblenergo is already working on a solution to this issue!”, the report says.
Dmytro Lunin, the head of the Poltava OVA Dmytro Lunin, said that water had also been cut off in the region. “Light and water supply in the region will soon be restored. Energy workers are already working,” he wrote.
Problems with water supply also arose in Kharkiv, where pumping stations remained without power.
“Strike on an infrastructure facility in Kharkiv. As a result of the impact, the lights went out in many areas of the city. For the same reason, there is no water in the same areas – the pumps are not working,” said the mayor of Kharkiv Ihor Terekhov.
Terekhov called the attack on infrastructure objects a cynical revenge of the Russian aggressor. for the successes of the Ukrainian army at the front, in particular in the Kharkiv region.
“I ask everyone to keep calm. Oblenergo specialists and our utility services are already working on repairing the damage caused to the city by our enemy. The aggressor is vile, and from the very beginning he was intent on destroying us as a nation. But we will win. The armed forces have been proven,” he added.
The head of the regional military administration Valentyn Reznichenko confirmed the partial blackout of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
“Some cities and communities of the region were left without electricity. The Russians hit the energy infrastructure. They cannot accept defeats on the battlefield. But we will manage. All services are already working. We will restore everything as quickly as possible,” he concluded.
Russian propagandists confirmed that the problems with water and electricity arose as a result of missile strikes by the Russian Armed Forces on Ukrainian facilities.
