Thanks to the video, the whole world will learn about the crimes of the Russians.
The Orchestra, which won this year's Eurovision Song Contest, voiced the story of the Irpen House of Culture, which was destroyed by the Russian invaders. The video became part of the Ukrainian Institute's Postcards from Ukraine campaign, which tells about unique cultural or historical monuments destroyed during the full-scale invasion of Russia.
“People built the cultural center on their own initiative and at their own expense. Here they sang, organized language clubs and performances, went to concerts of artists they loved. I also performed here with the Kralitsa folklore ensemble. On a stage that no longer exists,” Muzychuk says in the video.

In the first months of the full-scale war, the city of Irpin became a shield for Kyiv and came under Russian occupation. The cultural center was also hit, the facades, interiors and ceiling of the building were damaged.
The central cultural center in the city of Irpin was one of the first such institutions in Ukraine after the Second World War. The local community initiated the construction: people wanted to take care of the cultural development of the city community. The residents of Irpen have always been proud of this important initiative.
The official opening took place in the fall of 1954.
