TV series “Coffee with cardamom” is presented at 15 Krakow International Independent Film Festival in Krakow. According to the State Cinema, the festival takes place from April 29 to May 8.
An important part of the event is SerialCon – part of the festival dedicated to the series. The leitmotif of this year's section is the series that cross borders – social, genre and geographical. SerialCon hosts a discussion panel “Serial co-production between Ukraine and Poland”, in which the series “Coffee with Cardamom” created in cooperation with Poland was presented.
This is a joint project of Solar Media Entertainment and STB TV channel. created with the support of the State Agency of Ukraine for Cinema and the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation. The premiere of the series took place on STB TV on December 20, 2021.
“Coffee with Cardamom” is a historical drama about forbidden love, which took place in Lviv in the XIX century. The series is a film adaptation of a novel by Lviv writer Natalia Hurnytska. He tells about 20-year-old Anna, the daughter of a priest who lives in the city of Zhovkva near Lviv, her aunt gave her shelter. Anna feels lonely all the time, but everything changes when she meets 50-year-old married nobleman Adam. Tel Aviv , May 26-June 5. And in a day its world premiere will take place in Krakow.
