An exhibition of Ukrainian artists was opened at the Council of Europe Art Club

This is the first exhibition since the closure of the Palace of Europe Gallery in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic.

В Артклубі The Council of Europe has opened an exhibition of works of art for the first time in two years, featuring works by Ukrainian artists from Ivano-Frankivsk, Orest Kostiv and Viktor Babak. Prior to that, the galleries of the Palace of Europe were closed due to the coronavirus epidemic. The works of artists will be put up for sale, half of the proceeds will be transferred to Ukrainian museums, Ukrinform reports.

According to the organizers of the exhibition, some of the paintings were created during the war and became a reaction of artists to its horrors.

The exhibition will last until the end of May. The gallery presents ten works by each of the authors. The minimum prices indicated in the materials of the exhibition are from 500 to 1,000 euros per painting.

Representatives of the local association PromoUkraina, who organized the event, stressed that the war is currently being waged, including against the culture and European identity of Ukraine.
