Baku has not yet commented on Yerevan's statement.
Armen Hryhoryan, Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, said that Yerevan and Baku reached an agreement on a truce. At the same time, according to him, there is no document or agreement that is being prepared for signing, DW reports. We hope that Azerbaijan will abide by this agreement,” Hryhoryan said on Public Television.
However, Azerbaijan has not yet confirmed the achievement of the ceasefire.
The press secretary of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, Aram Torosyan, reported that as of 20:00 local time, shelling in all directions practically stopped and no significant incidents were recorded.
At the same time, on the evening of September 14, protests began in Yerevan demanding the resignation of the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan. Several thousand people gathered near the parliament building. It is reported that the cause of dissatisfaction was Pashinyan's statement about his readiness to sign a document with Azerbaijan, which could cause criticism from the Armenian population. Such a statement was perceived by many citizens as a rejection of Nagorno-Karabakh.
However, Pashinyan wrote a post on Facebook in which he announced that he was not going to sign any documents.
“Dear compatriots, I urge you not to be manipulated. No document has been signed and is not being prepared for signing. This is informational sabotage directed by unfriendly external forces with the aim of breaking the country's immunity,” Pashinyan's post reads.
The National Security Service of Armenia stressed that the prime minister's words were distorted by the media.

The conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan intensified again on the night of September 13. Countries accused each other of shelling. Armenia said that Azerbaijan opened fire in the direction of the border settlements of Vardenis, Sotk, Artanish, Ishkhanasar, Goris and Kapan. Baku, in turn, accused Yerevan of “sabotage” at the border. Pashinyan stated that more than 100 Armenian soldiers died in two days as a result of the aggravation of the situation on the border. Azerbaijan reported 50 military casualties from its side.
