The Security Service of Ukraine detained a man who gave the Russian military the location and movement of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and collected information about the location of critical infrastructure facilities in Rivne, after which he called on Russia to launch a missile attack on the city. This was reported by the SBU press service.

“The detainee is a local resident who, after the start of the full-scale invasion, created his own Tg channel, where he published posts in support of the invaders and justified their crimes,” the SBU quotes investigative materials. to find “like-minded people” to carry out subversive activities against Ukraine”.

The man transmitted information about the location of certain objects through the Tg channel. During the search, investigators found a cell phone with evidence of “encrypted” correspondence and unregistered firearm ammunition.

He is currently in custody and has been charged with:

  • h. 2 Art. 114-2 (distribution of information about the movement, movement or location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or other armed formations of Ukraine);
  • Part 1 of Art. 263 (illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives);
  • ch. 3 Art. 436-2 (justification, recognition as legitimate, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
