Russian invaders are partially successful as a result of assault near the village of Pokrovske, Donetsk region, in the direction of Bakhmut. This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the evening briefing.
Currently, enemy troops are entrenched on the southern outskirts of the settlement.
At the same time, the defenders of Ukraine repelled attempts by the Russians to advance in the direction of Berestovo, Vershyn, Belogorivka and Vugleghirska thermal power stations.
In the mentioned direction, the occupiers also shelled the districts of Bakhmut, Novoluhanskyi, Pokrovskyi, Vershina, Veselaya Dolyna, Yakovlivka, Berestovoi and Zaitsevoi. Airstrikes were carried out in the vicinity of Vugleghirskaya TPP, Pokrovsky, Berestovo, Mayorsk, Toretsk, and Vershina.
On the Donetsk side, Russian troops tried to advance towards Spirnyi, Hryhorivka, and Ivano-Daryivka. However, the fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine inflicted significant losses on the invaders, forcing them to retreat in disorder.
There, the enemy continues to focus its main efforts on attempts to advance in the directions of Siversk and Bakhmut.
Soldiers of the Russian Federation conducted artillery fire near Kramatorsk, Siversk, Raigorodka, Verkhnokamyansk, Spirnyi, Donetsk, Starodubivka, Dronivka, and Ivano-Daryivka. An enemy airstrike was recorded near Verkhnokamyanskyi.

In this region, they shelled the districts of Dibrovny, Novomykolaivka, Velika Komyshuvakha, Dolyna, Chepil, Semilanno, Hrushuvaha, Adamivka, Barvinkovo, Bogorodychny, Arkhangelivka, and Novaya Dmitrivka with rocket, barrel artillery, and tanks.
Attempts of the Russian military to carry out an offensive towards the villages of Uda and Husarivka in the direction of Kharkiv also proved unsuccessful.
The Russian invaders continue to fire artillery at settlements located to the north, east and south-east of Kharkiv. An airstrike was carried out near Husarivka.
