The President signed a law on fines for exporting foreign currency

These are penalties for non-declaration of currency.

President Volodymyr Zelensky signed the law (draft 6051) , which impose fines for the movement across the border of undeclared goods and foreign currency. In some cases, currency can be confiscated at customs. This is evidenced by the information on the website of the Verkhovna Rada.

According to the document, administrative liability is established for non-declaration of currency values ​​in the amount of more than 10,000 euros per person. Such a violation entails a fine of 20% of the amount exceeding the amount allowed for export without declaring. >

At the same time, earlier the chairman of the tax committee Danilo Getmantsev explained that the 20% fine will be applied “only in case of non-compliance with the established form of currency declaration.” If the money is moved with concealment or out of customs control, the owner will have to pay a fine of 100% of the value with confiscation of the entire amount of currency.

At the same time, the law provides for a peace agreement with customs. And here the violator is obliged to pay the full amount of the fine within 30 days.
