Pope Francis was invited by:

  • President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky;

  • Sviatoslav Shevchuk, Chief Archbishop of the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Byzantine Rite;
  • Ambassador of Ukraine to the Vatican Andrei Yurash.
