The official entry of Belarus into the war means that it will last longer – Czech Foreign Ministry

The Elector stressed that this fact requires Ukraine's partners to provide even more assistance and support, including macro-financial support, arms supplies, and humanitarian programs.

“We were ready for the fact that more work will be needed,” he emphasized.

In turn, Deputy Minister of Defense of the Czech Republic Tomasz Kopechny, who is in charge of the supply of weapons to Ukraine, added: “We hope that this (deployment of a joint military group with the Russian Federation, ed.) will become an additional argument for those countries that refrain from supplying Ukraine with weapons for fear of further escalation of the war. We are eyewitnesses to the fact that the pace of escalation in this war definitely does not depend on the amount of weapons that Ukraine receives”.
