A pre-trial investigation has been launched into violations of the laws or customs of war, combined with premeditated murder.
During the occupation of the village of Nova Basan in Chernihiv region the Russian military shot a minor boy. The boy's body was buried by his parents on the territory of the household, the press service of the regional prosecutor's office reports.
According to the investigation, the boy died in March near the village council building as a result of shelling by the occupying forces. And his brother was wounded.
The fact was established by law enforcement officers during the recording of criminal offenses committed by soldiers of the aggressor country during the occupation of the village.

Under the procedural guidance of the Nizhyn District Prosecutor's Office launched a pre-trial investigation under the article of violation of laws and customs of war combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). >
“The body of the deceased has been exhumed so far. In the criminal proceedings, a forensic examination was ordered to determine the cause of death.
