The Russian occupiers intend to hold a so-called “referendum” on April 4 in the city of Tokmak, Zaporozhye region. This was reported at the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Friday, April 1.
“According to available information, the Russian occupiers plan to hold a so-called referendum in the city of Tokmak on April 4. In particular, the occupation administration has already notified the local population about this event,” the statement said.
The General Staff also published other operational information as of April 1:
- In Energodar , on the territory of the military unit of the National Guard, the occupiers continue to detain local residents suspected of organizing pro-Ukrainian actions and preparing sabotage against the invaders, and conduct interrogations with psychological and physical pressure.
- In Melitopol , the enemy continues to deploy artillery systems among the residential areas and fires in the direction of Zaporozhye. The occupiers do not give up the idea of implementing the educational process in the city's educational institutions according to their own standards and in Russian in April 2022. - The enemy continues to withdraw troops from the territory of Kiev and Chernihiv regions , as well as regroup them presumably to create strike groups in the Slobozhansky and Donetsk directions.
