The house burned down completely.
The leader of the Druha Rika group, Valery Kharchishin, said that the Russian occupiers had destroyed his family's house near Gostomel. The musician announced this on his Facebook.
“This house near Gostomel is a part of my life. My three sons grew up and lived in it. I built it for all the money I earned. I fought for it when my land was taken away, when the builders swindled me – I rebuilt almost everything. “Recently, I built a house next door for parents who expressed a desire to move. During the protracted covid crisis. For the last money. The parents did not move. They did not have time,” Kharchishin said.
He stressed that for his children, this house is their home and their little Ukraine. Yesterday it burned down completely. The Russian occupiers got into it.
My children don't have “their Ukraine” now. They have nowhere to go. They don't know about it yet. My eldest son doesn't know about it. “I'm not sure they're alive,” the musician added.
Valery Kharchishin is confident that he will build hundreds more such houses.
“We will all rebuild and plant thousands of trees. But first we will destroy every orc that steps on our land. Burn you in hell, you Katsap devils, while our houses are smoldering,” he wrote.
We will remind, the village of Gostomel of the Kiev region became one of the most victims for the first month of war which Russia started against Ukraine. The Russian occupiers seized the airport in Gostomel, Kiev region, on February 24.
