About 80% of Ukrainians consume less than 250 kilowatts per month.
Electricity tariff for consumers using up to 250 kW per month will remain unchanged – 1.44 UAH/kW – for six months.
“We continue for at least the next six months the electricity tariff of 1 hryvnia 44 kopecks per kilowatt for those consuming less than 250 kilowatts. This is 80% of our citizens, “said Volodymyr Zelenskyi, President of Ukraine, during his daily address.
The President held a meeting with government officials on economic issues. In particular, they discussed the end of the heating season and the solution of urgent issues that arose during the martial law.
According to the President, in general, this heating season was successful, during the martial law energy supplies were not interrupted. Zelensky also stressed that four-fifths of all Ukrainian companies have already returned to work in a safe area.
