The level of support for Putin in the Russian Federation began to decrease – the results of the survey

Against the background of partial mobilization, the percentage of support is creeping downwards, although it still remains significant.

Russian support for President Vladimir Putin< /strong> in September, against the announcement of partial mobilization, decreased by 6 percent. Such data is provided by the organization “Levada Center”, entered in the Russian Federation Register of non-profit organizations that perform the functions of a foreign agent.

During the last three months, its activities at the post were supported 83 % of respondents, but already in September support fell to 77%. At the same time, a fifth of citizens (21%) do not approve of his activities.

At the end of September, compared to the previous month, the share of those who believe that things in the country are going in the right direction also decreased in Russia .

In August there were 67% of them, in September – only 60%. Another 27% of respondents believe that the country is moving in the wrong direction.

The level of trust in other institutions of power in Russia, including the prime minister, governors, and Duma, also decreased somewhat, although not so significantly. Mishustin's work is approved by 66% of those polled (68% a month earlier), heads of regions — 63% (previously — 68%), parliament — 54% (vs. 57% in August).

All-Russian survey by the Levada Center was conducted through personal interviews on September 22-28 with a representative all-Russian sample of the urban and rural population in the number of 1,631 respondents aged 18 and older in 137 settlements, 50 subjects of the Russian Federation.

The statistical error for a sample of 1,600 people does not exceed: 3.4% for figures close to 50%; 2.9% for figures close to 25%/75%; 2.0% for figures close to 10%/90%; 1.5% for indicators close to 5%/95%.

At the beginning of September, the results of the Levada-Center survey showed that the opinions of the citizens of the Russian Federation on whether it is worth continuing the war against Ukraine, divided.
