Transporters need to be paid.
Kyiv City Council plans to consider return of electronic payment for travel on public transport at the next meeting. The mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko announced this on the air of the national telethon. The mayor also added that today the number of land public transport routes is increasing in Kyiv. More trains are already running in the subway.
“Transporters go to work, they have to pay salaries. They also need fuel, electricity, consumables to keep the transport going in the capital. This is a lot of money for the city,” Klitschko said. We will remind, on April 21 the movement of subway trains was resumed to Lisova station. The interval of movement on all lines was reduced to 10-15 minutes.
